CoDa Therapeutics Nets Additional $10M Series A

SAN DIEGO, CA -- CoDa Therapeutics announced the final close of its series A round of financing, with an additional $10 million secured to finish the $20 million round.

CoDa Therapeutics is developing novel wound care technologies based on "unique targets and mechanisms of action" that the company claims have been demonstrated to "dramatically improve healing in multiple tissue types following a single therapeutic application."

Existing investor Domain Associates and new investor GBS Venture Partners invested the additional $10 million.  The company intends to move forward with its clinical development process and file an IND later this year.
